Administrative Services

We are hiring bilingual (Spanish-English) U.S. citizens in multiple locations for 1st, 2nd and 3rd shift, full and part-time positions to provide mission critical contract services while assisting the federal government's homeland security mission. Local and temporary duty (TDY) opportunities in multiple locations with very competitive pay and benefits available.

  • Data entry for individuals and families at intake and discharge

  • Log admin activities and status

  • Communicate with and gather individual's information

  • Store and inventory personal property.

  • Additional administrative tasks

  • Monitor employee productivity

Apply if you meet the following requirements:

  • U.S. Citizen

  • Lived in the U.S. for at least 3 years out of the last 5 years (with some possible exceptions)

  • Spanish-English Bilingual

  • Do have or can obtain a clear government Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI)

All positions serve an explicitly civilian function. They are not involved in any law enforcement duties (i.e., apprehension, detention, custody) and do not participate in surveilling the border or apprehending individuals (migrants, immigrants & refugees).

Language Services

We have contract interpreter positions available in an as-needed basis for multiple immigration court hearing locations across the nation. Seeking professionals with fluency in English and one or more of over 600 languages (especially Spanish) to perform in-person, telephonic and video remote interpretation. Short term travel pay (plus costs) available. Flexible schedule and competitive rates.

COURT INTERPRETER
  • Highly proficient in both English and the non-English vocabularies

  • Knowledgeable of legal, criminal and immigration procedures terminology

  • Able to perform full and complete interpretation using appropriate modes

Apply if you meet the following requirements:

  • Approved work/employment authorization status (US citizen, A01, A02, or A05 categories)

  • One (1) year of interpreting experience in a judicial/court setting

  • Adept at simultaneous and consecutive interpretation and sight translation modes

  • Able to complete assessment, training, and testing – all online and paid for by SOSi
